Academy of Art will hit the road for a non-conference match in Belmont, Calif. against Notre Dame de Namur before returning to PacWest play with Holy Names in Hayward.

KNIGHT WATCH
After a strong defensive week in which ART U surrendered a modest three goals to the first and second place teams in the PacWest, senior goalkeeper
Morgan Wirz is your Knight to watch. The keeper collected ten saves on the week, five in each game, to bring her 2018 saves total to 38 -- fourth most in the PacWest. Other Knights to watch are senior defender
Chayney Mata and freshman defender
Britney Flint who have been staples of Academy of Art's back line all year.
AGRO SAILORS
Notre Dame de Namur comes into their non-conference game against ART U with an overall record of 2-8 and a conference record of 1-3. In their most recent game the Argonauts defeated Chaminade 3-2 with a golden goal in overtime. NDNU's only other win in 2018 came on Sept. 13th versus Cal State San Bernardino by a score of 3-1. Susan Whitney leads the Argonaut's offense, with four goals and an assist for a team leading nine points. The Urban Knights are winless all-time against NDNU with a record of 0-12-2.
HAWK TALK
Currently 2-7 overall and 0-3 in conference, Holy Names comes into the match on a two game losing streak that began with a 5-0 loss to Fresno Pacific and most recently a 3-1 loss to UH Hilo. The Hawk's first win came in their opening game of the season, defeating UC Merced 3-2 in overtime. Showing a flair for the dramatic, HNU's second win was also decided in overtime as they defeated Cal State East Bay 3-2. The ninth place Hawks top offensive threat is Abbi Alexander who has scored two goals and assisted two others for six points. Academy of Art leads the all-time series with a record of 4-3 including a 2-0 victory in last year's game.
UH HILO'S EARLY GOAL HOLDS
Academy of Art women's soccer out-shot UH Hilo in the second half of Thursday's PacWest matchup, but an early goal by the Vulcans made the difference in a 1-0 loss.
