HOME OPENER
After completing the SF State Tip-off Classic, Academy of Art will host Cal State East Bay in their home opener on Wednesday, Nov. 14. The Urban Knights will have an extended break before their next set of games at the Dixie State Thanksgiving Classic starting Nov. 23.

KNIGHT WATCH
Sophomore guard Stefan Milivojevic is your Knight to watch after scoring a career high 20 points against Sonoma State over the weekend. In two games, Milivojevic sank a team leading four 3-pointers and was perfect from the free-throw line (4-4). The Serbia native also collected five rebounds, three assists, and a steal. Redshirt junior forward Victor Ruiz de Carranza recorded his first career double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds on Saturday versus the Seawolves. Carranza's 17 total rebounds lead ART U and are fourth highest in the PacWest.

PIONEERS CROSS THE BRIDGE
Cal State East Bay has started their 2018-2019 undefeated, with a 2-0 record on wins over Notre Dame de Namur and Holy Names. The Pioneers took down the Argonauts 70-59 to open their season at the Veteran's Day Classic and finished the tournament with a win over the Hawks 75-60. East Bay is led by the duo of Juwan Anderson and Ant Navarrete who have combined for 40 percent of their teams points (57). Anderson also leads the Pioneers in assists with 11 and steals with five. Academy of Art is 2-4 all-time against CSUEB. ART U lost their most recent meeting two years ago by a score of 78-71.

MILIVOJEVIC SCORES CAREER HIGH IN OVERTIME LOSS
Despite sophomore guard Stefan Milivojevic dropping a career high 20 points and redshirt junior forward Victor Ruiz de Carranza achieving his first double-double, Academy of Art closed out the SF State Tip-off Classic on a tough overtime loss to Sonoma State 68-66. Read More.

LOOKING AHEAD
After the single game with CSUEB, Academy of Art experiences a nine day break before competing in the Dixie State Thanksgiving Classic. The Urban Knights face host Dixie State Nov. 23 and Westminster College Nov. 24.
