After finishing up the non-conference portion of the schedule, Academy of Art gets set to host three Pacific West Conference home games to close out the 2019 calendar year. The stretch starts on Sunday afternoon with Chaminade, followed by a pair of Bay Area schools in Dominican on Thursday night before finishing next week on Saturday afternoon against Notre Dame de Namur. ART U will look to get back into the win column and snap their five-game losing streak.

KNIGHT WATCH
Since their 61-57 win against Cal State East Bay, the Urban Knights have dropped five straight, including the PacWest opener to Fresno Pacific 97-79, and the end of non-conference play against Cal State San Bernardino 85-71. Following his
career-high 31 points vs. Chico State on Nov. 27, junior guard
Stefan Milivojevic has posted back-to-back 20 point games against FPU and CSUSB, including a
game-high 24 points versus the Coyotes this past Tuesday. Also putting up double-digit points in both games was junior guard
Kai Tease,
who totaled 16 against the Sunbirds to go with a game-high four steals before chipping in 12 points off the bench against CSUSB. Junior guard
Joshua Bagley totaled a season-high in assists against Cal State San Bernardino with seven after tying his previous season-high with six vs. FPU.Â
Â
The ART U scoring leader is Milivojevic, as he is averaging 15.5 points on 56.6 percent shooting from the field. Those

totals have him at 11th in the conference in points per game while he's fourth field goal percentage. Milivojevic also finds himself on the leaderboard in three-point field goal percentage, coming in second at 46.5 percent (20-for-43). Just behind Milivojevic in scoring for ART U is Tease, who is averaging 13.3 points per game, while Bagley is the assists leader with 3.6 per game.Â
Â
CONQUERING CHAMINADE
Chaminade comes into the matchup with a .500 record of 3-3, having won its first two games of the season against Alaska Fairbanks, 90-64, and Alaska Anchorage, 85-56, as part of the PacWest/GNAC Challenge. The next three contests would all be losses in the Maui Jim Maui Invitational, though PacWest play started on a good note for CUH, as they defeated then No. 24 ranked Azusa Pacific in Honolulu, 96-85. Leading the way in scoring for the Silverswords is Tyler Cartaino, averaging 21.0 points per game and shooting 55.9 percent from the floor. Kendall Small is the leader in rebounds and assists for Chaminade, as he averages 5.3 assists per game (first in PacWest). ART U is 2-17 all time against CUH, having split last year's two meetings.
Â
MAKING THE PENGUINS SWEAT
The Penguins have yet to record a win this season, as they are 0-8 overall and 0-2 in PacWest play. After opening the season in a narrow loss to Sonoma State 87-82 in the PacWest/CCAA Conference Challenge, Dominican fell by double-digits to San Francisco State, 83-65. The first two PacWest contests have been much closer, as they've faced off against Point Loma in an 80-71 loss before dropping their second one-point loss of the season to Biola, 65-64. There will be one more PacWest game for Dominican against Hawai'i Pacific on Dec. 16 before facing the Urban Knights. Jordan Williams is not only the leading score for the Penguins, averaging 16.0 points per game, he is also the top rebounder with 5.5 per game and leads in assists with 2.4 per game. Dominican leads the all-time matchup 14-6, but it has been ART U that has won the last four meetings, the longest such stretch for the Urban Knights between the two teams.
Â
SMOOTH SAILING AGAINST THE ARGONAUTS
NDNU is just 1-7 so far into the season, having lost their first four games before getting in the win column against Western New Mexico, 77-63. It was an 0-2 showing for the Argonauts in the PacWest/CCAA Conference Challenge to begin the year, and a loss to UC San Diego 95-63 would wrap up non-conference play. PacWest action has started with back-to-back losses, first against Biola 88-79, followed two days later by a 93-51 loss to Point Loma. The Argonauts will take on Hawai'i Pacific on Dec. 14 and Chaminade on Dec. 19 prior to facing ART U. Trevor Thompson is the leading scorer, averaging 17.9 points per game. It's an even split in the matchup history between these teams at 11-11, but the Urban Knights are on a five-game winning streak against the Argos, and are 9-1 in the last 10 matchups with NDNU.Â
Â
MILIVOJEVIC'S GAME HIGH 24 POINTS NOT ENOUGH FOR ART UÂ
A game-high of 24 points from junior guard
Stefan Milivojevic couldn't help  Academy of Art men's basketball overcome the Cal State San Bernardino Coyotes, as the Urban Knights
dropped Tuesday's non-conference matchup by a final score of 85-71 inside Kezar Pavilion.
Â
LOOKING AHEAD
ART U will conclude its six game homestand with the final two contests after the calendar year turns to 2020, as the Urban Knights will host Azusa Pacific on Jan. 2 followed by Concordia on Jan. 4. Â
