OAKLAND, Calif. – Academy of Art dominated Mills 7-0 on a pair of goals from senior forward
Anissa Wilson, who tied the ART U single season goals record, and scoring contributions from five other Urban Knights on a hot Friday evening at Hellman Soccer Field.
It did not take long for ART U to runaway with the match, scoring three goals in the first 10 minutes. Sophomore forward
Baylie Christensen kicked off the scoring by heading in a cross by sophomore forward
Brooklyn Morera for her first goal of the season.

Reyna Valencia put her first goal of the year in the net next with an assist from Wilson. Three minutes later, junior midfielder
Sydney Cooke barreled down the middle of the field on a quick counterattack and launched a shot past the Cyclones' keeper to double her goal total on the year.
Morera claimed ART U's next score in the 16th minute and became the third Urban Knight to collect their first goal of the season in the match. A familiar offense threat struck as Wilson put two goals in the back of the net just three minutes apart for her sixth and seventh goals of the season.

Her seventh goal tied her with Margret Thorolfsdottir for the ART U single-season goals with 14 matches still left to play. Furthermore, Wilson has scored in all four of ART U's matches and has scored two goals in three out of the four. She now leads the conference in goals by five and points by nine.
After the offensive explosion in the first half, Academy of Art went into the halftime break up 6-0. The scoring slowed down in the second half, but the Knights remained firmly in the driver's seat. A final first goal of the season was claimed in the 59th minute by sophomore midfielder
Avica Robings.
Morera once again earned the assist for her second of the match. All said and done Morera had a huge match, collecting five points on one goal and two assists for the second highest single-game scoring performance in ART U history.

Jordyn Wight earned her first start of the season in goal and collected a pair of saves. Later in the match Wight's versatility was on display as she also registered her first career shot. Freshman goalkeeper
Nicole Peoples saw her first career minutes and kept the Cyclones scoreless in the second half to complete the shutout for the Knights.
Academy of Art improves to 3-1 after the 7-0 rout of the Cyclones and will look to continue their stellar start to the season Sept. 16 against Western Oregon.
