2020-21 All-PacWest Teams

IRVINE, Calif. – For the second time in each of their careers and for the second consecutive season, Academy of Art men's basketball senior duo Josh Hill and Stefan Milivojevic have been named to the All-PacWest Northern California Team after respective record-setting seasons as announced by the conference on Wednesday. It marks just the second time in ART U history in which the Urban Knights have had multiple selections to an All-PacWest Team. 

"It is great that the Northern California coaches voted Stefan [Milivojevic] and Josh [Hill] to the PacWest NorCal team," said ART U Head Coach Scott Waterman. "Even though we do not stress individual accolades, both of these young men had performances during our shortened season that stood out and helped put our team in position to be successful."

Hill earns PacWest recognition a season after being named to the All-PacWest Third Team in 2019-20. A dominating force in the paint, Hill averaged a double-double this season with 14.6 points and 12.6 rebounds per game over ART U's 13 contests, ending the year with nine double-doubles to tie for seventh in the nation in that category. His 164 rebounds this season is the ninth-most in a single year at ART U, and he set his single-game career-high in rebounds in the first game of the season on Jan. 22 against Dominican when he snatched 18. The best all-around performance came in his 23-point, 16-rebound effort against Fresno Pacific on Jan. 30, while he also registered a career-high in steals with five against Humboldt State on Feb. 28. With another prolific year working the glass, he finds himself in the top-10 in all ART U career rebounding records, sitting number two in total rebounds with 409 while ranking first in rebounding average at 9.5 per game. Once this season he earned the PacWest NorCal Player of the Week award for his efforts on Feb. 15. 

One year after being named to the All-PacWest First Team in 2019-20, Milivojevic makes it consecutive seasons after averaging a team-high 16.4 points per game, seventh most in the PacWest. Milivojevic shot 41 percent from the floor and from downtown, making at least one 3-pointer in every game this season, while also tying his career high in assists with six against Fresno Pacific on Mar. 2. The best performance of the season came on Jan. 23 against Dominican when he dropped 22 points including three triples, while he made a season-high four 3-balls against the Penguins on Mar. 5. Already the most prolific shooter in ART U history, he either owns the record for or is in the top-10 in every scoring and shooting record for the Knights, including being the all-time points leader with 1,112 and leading all -point categories. This season he played in his 94th career contest, sixth most in ART U history, and has now played the single-most minutes as an Urban Knight with 2,497.
