PacWest Conference Weekly Awards (Mar. 29)

Haley Randall were named Pacific West Conference Player and Freshman of the Week respectively. The awards are for games played from Mar. 22-28.
After going 1-for-3 in the
Mar. 26 series opener, Henderson racked up three runs batted in with two coming in on a double late in the 5-1 game two victory to complete the day's sweep. The following afternoon on
Mar. 27, she hit for the cycle over the course of the doubleheader, homering as part of a 2-for-4 effort in the first contest then adding a double, triple, and two more singles plus another RBI in the last game of the week. She upped her current reached base streak to 11 games with the hot stretch.
For the week, Henderson hit .600 (9-for-15) with five RBIs, one homer, one triple, two doubles, and four runs scored. She now ranks second in the PacWest in home runs (3), fourth in doubles (4) and 10th in batting average (.400).
Randall started the week by going 3-for-4 with a double and a RBI in the first game of ART U's
Mar. 26 doubleheader with Dominican. Following a 1-for-4 effort in the second contest that day, Randall pushed her current hit streak to seven games with a 4-for-5 combined twinbill on
Mar. 27. Two of those four hits were a pair of homers in the first game which made Randall the sixth Urban Knight in program history to homer twice in one contest. On top of her four RBIs in that game, she added three more in the series finale.
For the week, Randall batted .615 (8-for-13) with seven RBIs, two homers, one double, one stolen base, and five runs scored. She is tied with Henderson for second in the conference in home runs (3) and fourth in RBIs (11) and doubles (4).
This is the second PacWest weekly honor for Henderson in her career and the first for Randall.
