KICKOFF
The matchups will begin with Monday's battle with the Warriors, as kickoff is set for 3:15 p.m., while the road trip continues at 3:30 p.m. against the Sea Lions on Thursday and ends with a 4 p.m. challenge at the Eagles on Saturday. Ashley TasevKNIGHT WATCH
Redshirt junior defender Katie Williams has been a powerful asset for the Knights throughout the 2023 season, as she's been strong on the defensive line while simultaneously being the team's leader in points (5). Williams currently holds the best shot on goal percentage on the team (.625) and has played in every minute so far on the season (1,260).

Sophomore forward Danielle Medellin sits right behind Williams in total points (4) as she's tied for first for the most shots on the team (11) with freshman midfielder Ashley Tasev. Freshman defender/forward Jade Alverio is now tied for third place on the squad in points (3) after her appearance in the match against Lincoln, where she scored her first collegiate goal and tacked on an assist from a corner kick.

Freshman goalkeeper Kayla Hampton has played the most minutes in goal for the Knights, racking up 62 saves on 163 shots faced to give herself a .689 save percentage. Last match, Hampton recorded her highest number of saves in her young collegiate career, now already with a career best of 14 in one match.

FIGHTING BACK AGAINST WARRIORS
Directly in the center of the pack in the PacWest Conference sitting in tied for fifth place is Westmont, who currently holds 3-1-2 record and 5-2-5 overall. The Warriors are coming off a 1-0 shutout win against Hawai'i Pacific, and with a strong defense, have given up just four goals through their last eight matches played. The team has a 0.92 goals against average on the year, but is scoring just 1.08 goals per match themselves. Amelia Villa holds the most points on the squad (10) with four goals and two assists, as Amarys Machado sits right behind her (8), also with four goals. Maya Pablos has recorded 41 saves in net (third in PacWest) on 108 shots faced, and is tied for third in the conference in most shutouts (6). This will be the first match to date Academy of Art and Westmont will face off.

PUNISHING POINT LOMA
A spot above the Warriors in the PacWest are the Sea Lions, as they are in fourth place being 4-2-0 in conference play and 8-3-1 overall. Scoring 2.08 goals per game while giving up just 0.75 goals a match, PLNU has eight players with five or more points on the season, with Nikki Ross' 10 leading the way. One goal less than Ross in goals on the year is Alana Diaz as the two hold nine between them with no assists. Bethany Arabe carries the most assists on the squad with five (second in PacWest), with Grace Nelson right behind her on the team (3). Julia Pinnell has given up just eight goals on the year with her 0.69 average (third in PacWest) while recording 25 saves on 83 shots faced and six shutouts. Leading in the all-time series with ART U are the Sea Lions, 9-0-1.

ENDING IT WITH THE EAGLES
Biola holds a 2-4-0 record in conference and is 3-9-1 overall. The Eagles sit in seventh place in the PacWest with just one more win than the Knights overall on the year. Biola is scoring 0.77 goals per match while giving up an average of 1.46, just above twice as many. Peyton Nelson is the leader in points for Biola (10) scoring five goals on her 30 shots, with five other members of the Eagles adding on one score each. Briley Phelps holds the second-most number of shots on the team (20), and is one of the five with a goal, but also holds four assists throughout the season (first on Biola). Autum Monty has been the goalkeeper all year playing in every minute thus far (1170), recording 57 shots on 182 shots faced and allowing 19 scores. Biola leads the all-time meetings with ART U 6-0.

HAMPTON HAS CAREER DAY IN WOMEN'S SOCCER MATCH ACROSS THE BAY
A quick start by Dominican would produce a lead they'd hold for the duration of last Saturday's match, as Academy of Art would drop their contest against the Penguins with a 3-0 final score.
