PacWest Weekly Awards (Nov. 20)

Maya McClellan led the way on
Senior Day, further etching her name among the program's elite on her way to be earning the season's final Pacific West Conference Player of the Week honor. The award is for matches played from Nov. 13-19.
Following a ceremony honoring her and fellow graduate student outside hitter
Amalie Rupertova, McClellan's closed out her collegiate career in style by logging no fewer than four kills in each set eventually connecting a career-high 27 kills which ranked third in program history behind only
Melissa Brum's 31 (
Oct. 1, 2014) and
Dan Yang's 28 (
Sept. 6, 2008). The Interior Architecture & Design major added 13 digs for her 14th double-double of 2023, two blocks, and two service aces in the 3-2 victory over Dominican.
McClellan ended the season ranked second in the PacWest in both points (4.22) and kills (3.63) per set.
This is the first PacWest weekly honor for McClellan in her career.
