Janelle Burnett enters her first year as a student assistant for the Academy of Art women's volleyball team after playing two seasons for the Urban Knights.
Burnett transfered to ART U from Dodge City Community College in 2011, bringing with her a strong work ethic and dedication to the game of volleyball. In terms of Urban Knights career records, her 3.65 digs per game rank second overall and her 475 digs are sixth at Academy of Art University.
Burnett hails from Liberal, KS and will be continuing her education at the Academy of Art in the Interior Architecture & Design department while serving as an Urban Knights student assistant.
