Lyra Yoe finished last weekend's Pioneer Shootout at Cal State East Bay in first place, leading the Urban Knights to a first place finish for the second tournament in a row. The Hong Kong native helped the Knights to a first-place finish at the Lady Cougar Invitational at Cal State San Marcos last week as well.
Yoe, who shot a season-best and career-best 70 (2-under) on Saturday, birdying three of the first seven holes, and fired a 77 (+5) on Sunday but stayed in first place with a 147, leading the charge for the Urban Knights, who finished all five placers in the top 20 to secure the victory.
