Sophomore Oskar Frick emerged the individual winner of the 2015 Sonoma State Fall Invitational this past week, becoming the first Urban Knight to win a three-round tournament outright, finishing 10-under par for a decisive victory.

One day after making history as the first Urban Knight to ever shoot two sub-70 rounds, Frick amassing a tournament-best 15 birdies and ended with a three-round score of 206 (67-68-71). The first place result was the matched the best by an ART U men's golfer ironically since Matt Garcia won the Sonoma State Fall Invitational on Oct. 21, 2009. However, Garcia's victory included only two rounds, making Frick's result the highest in a full 54-hole competition. The sophomore ended up finishing six strokes ahead of second-place Johnnie Greco of William Jessup.
