Junior Brett Bovee was selected for Athlete of the Week after a stellar pitching performance against the Chico State Wildcats.
 
On Friday, February 12, the junior right hander tossed a complete game shutout on no runs and three hits against two walks and one strikeout. The victory was the program’s first over Chico State and the Las Vegas native’s first in an ART U uniform (junior transfer from College of Southern Nevada).
 
Bovee currently leads the Urban Knights’ starting pitching staff with a 3.07 ERA, 14.2 innings pitched (fifth in the PacWest Conference), five strikeouts, and a .191 batting average against (10^th in conference).
