For the second consecutive year, Mobolade Ajomale was crowned NCAA Division II National Champion in both the 60m and 200m at the Indoor Track & Field National Championships this past weekend.

Beginning in the final of the 60m, Ajomale matched his season-best from the day prior, by going 6.60 en route to first overall. It was not without a challenge from Tiffin's Jonte Baker who posted a 6.61, but for the third straight year, Ajomale took home the title.

Another successful title defense came in the 200m where Ajomale dropped a 20.91. The mark was 0.05 in front of Ashland's Myles Pringle (20.96) from the same heat and put the redshirt junior from Richmond Hill, Canada into elite company as he became one of two men to win back-to-back titles in the 60m and 200m as well as one of just three men to win a total of five career individual indoor event titles. In his three-year career, Ajomale is now a six-time National Champion and 11-time All-American.
