Gonzo Rios was named one of this week’s Urban Knights of the Week after tossing his first-career shutout in the series finale to cap off a 4-game sweep over Holy Names. In the outing, he only allowed one unearned run after 4.2 scoreless innings to begin the game. This did not faze Rios however, as he responded with a perfect, final two innings. His totals looked like this: 7.0 innings pitched, one run (unearned), three hits, three strikeouts, and two walks.
