Matthew Watkins had a historical performance at the Mustang Intercollegiate. On day one he tied the best single round score in Academy of Art men's golf program history in back to back rounds with a pair of 67s (-5). On day two he shot a 72 (E) to end at an exceptional (-10) cumulatively and tied for the best score across three rounds in ART U history. The incredible performance earned him PacWest Golfer of the Week honors on April 11.
