A critical piece contributing to a 2-0 opening week for ART U women's basketball in Oregon, graduate student guard Tayler Bennett averaged 22.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 2.5 steals per game while shooting 65.4 percent from the field and 53.8 percent from three-point range.

The Urban Knights' Nov. 8 season opener versus Western Oregon saw Bennett lead the team with 19 points on 7-for-13 shooting from the field and three 3-pointers that all came in a strong first half for the Interior Architecture & Design major. Bennett then broke out for 26 points against Concordia (Ore.) on Nov. 9 with 15 of those coming in the second half. She was a perfect 6-for-6 from the field and 3-for-3 from distance in the half, capping a stellar performance by converting the game-winning layup to beat the buzzer.

Bennett settled in as the Pacific West Conference's leading scorer following the first weekend of action and ranks second in the PacWest in field goal percentage.
