Men's Soccer Defeats BYU Hawaii

The Men's soccer team pulled out a win against BYU-Hawaii during Monday night's match. After going ten days since their last game, the Urban Knights came out in full force against the Seasiders. The Urban Knights managed 16 shots and were able to score twice, defeating the Seasiders 2-1.

AAU Freshman striker Emmanual Onywera scored both goals for the Urban Knights on 8 of the 16 shots; and Freshman Richard Martin had one assist on the day. Sophomore goalie Jose Herrera also had a great game, posting nine saves for his team.

BYU-Hawaii Junior Bryan Neal, had the lone goal for the Seasiders, and goalie Doug Hansen made three saves in the game. This was the Seasider's fourth match in seven days on the road.

With the win, the Urban Knights are now 2-4-2 on the season. Catch the Men in action again on Wednesday, October 1st at 7:00 PM, as they take on Humboldt State University in Arcata, CA.
