END OF THE LINE
A match with the sixth-best team in the nation will help Academy of Art men's soccer close the 2024 season, as the Urban Knights play host to No. 6 Point Loma on Saturday, Nov. 9 after recognizing their graduating class for Senior Day.

KICKOFF
Saturday's battle with the Sea Lions will kick off at noon from CCSF Soccer Field. Remember to follow @ARTU_Knights via the athletics app (Apple App Store, Google Play Store) and on Twitter & Instagram, as well as "Like" the Urban Knights on Facebook for score updates, videos, and recaps.

SENIOR DAY
Prior to Saturday's match, the Urban Knights will hold a brief ceremony to honor the 2024 ART U men's soccer senior class which is comprised of defender Chris Stokes and forward Elvis Mensah. Among the highlights of this year's class includes Stokes being on the cusp of the top 10 in minutes played in ART U history while Mensah ranks fifth in assists and eighth in both points and goals scored.

Kristian LonvigKNIGHT WATCH
While Academy of Art was unable to get in the win column in a week that featured battles against a pair of Southern California foes and Jessup, there was still a goal to be celebrated as junior forward Adrian Lechuga knocked in his first score of his ART U career. With just one match left of the campaign, 10 Knights have recorded a point with junior forward Kristian Lonvig leading the way with seven, while sophomore midfielder Joey Glaab (six), freshman midfielder Keita Goto (five), and Adrian Lechuga (five) all hover right behind. Redshirt freshman goalkeeper Florian Grollmann is just one of two Knights that have been out on the pitch for every minute thus far in 2024, as both him and Stokes each hold 1,440 minutes played. Grollmann additionally enters the match with a .654 save percentage with 68 saves total in net while looking to hold off the sixth-best team in the country.

PASSING POINT LOMA
Currently atop of the PacWest standings is No. 6 Point Loma, winners of each of their last four without a loss since Sept. 14 to hold a 8-0-1 conference record and 10-1-3 record overall. A number of Sea Lions have recorded points this year including three with 20 or higher, but none more than Elijah Langford as he leads the team in points (22) and assists (eight) while he's knocked in seven scores. Felix Calero and Zach Mercieca are not far behind with their 20 apiece with 13 other members of PLNU putting up a point. Splitting time between the posts have been Jeremy Caringella and Reinier ter Riet as the pair have given up just seven goals all season long with a combined .750 save percentage. In the all-time series between ART U and PLNU, it's the Sea Lions who lead 10-0-1.

ART U PUTS UP MULTIPLE GOOD LOOKS BUT APU FINDS PAIR
Though Academy of Art men's soccer got off eight shots in the Pacific West Conference clash on Nov. 4, ART U could not match a pair of goals that ultimately pushed Azusa Pacific to a 2-0 win.
