2013 Stanislaus Invitational Results

Turlock, CA – In action early Saturday morning, Academy of Art University Women's Cross Country was among the five teams running in the 2013 Stanislaus Invitational. The Urban Knights were led to a fourth place result by the duo of Arianna Michaels and Kaelyn Harbison who crossed the finish line at the exact same time. Both turned in top 15 marks on the 3k course.

Running on a course through the campus of Cal State Stanislaus, Michaels and Harbison stayed close to one another and ultimately finished in front of Fresno Pacific's Courtney Moore and UC Merced's Sofia Rios. Michaels was technically 12th and Harbison 13th though both had identical times of 10:53.6.

Madeline Dignadice was the third Urban Knight to finish as she came across 21st overall with a time of 11:32. At 30th overall, Kayla Pritchett posted a 12:54.9 while Mistic Scott was 31st at 13:35.4.

The Urban Knights return to action on Oct. 11 for the San Francisco State Invitational out at Golden Gate Park. Academy of Art University students will have an opportunity to cheer on the cross country teams, then partake in a Recreational Sports Day in the park.
