No. 23 Academy of Art versus University of Nevada Final Results
 
SAN FRANCISCO – No. 23 Academy of Art Women's Tennis (3-2) welcomed in University of Nevada on Saturday, their second Division I opponent of the season. After battling hard throughout, the Urban Knights fell 6-1.
 
In doubles, senior Michelle Dandik and junior Annika Schneider fell 6-2 while freshmen Alma Thell-Lenntorp and Klara Thell-Lenntorp dropped their first doubles match of the season, 6-4.
 
All of the singles matches were heavily contested with four out of the five played contests reaching a decisive third set. Klara Thell-Lenntorp was the sole Knight to come away with a win, defeating Adriana Gergelyova 6-4, 3-6, 6-4 in third singles.
 
After losing two matches in a row to formidable opponents, Academy of Art will look to get to get back to their winning ways on Wednesday, March 2, when Concordia University Irvine heads to San Francisco for a 10:00 a.m. match.
