OFF TO FLORIDA
After a week off from competition, the Urban Knights will head to Florida for their toughest stretch of the season, taking on five ranked teams (four of which within the top 15). Their week begins on Monday and includes matches on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Live coverage will be available on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.

KNOTABLE KNIGHTS
Freshman Klara Thell-Lenntorp remains undefeated in singles, posting a 7-0 record, going 1-0, 2-0, and 4-0 in third, fourth, and fifth singles respectively. Thell-Lenntorp and sister, freshman Alma Thell-Lenntorp are also the most successful doubles team, going 6-2 overall. Freshman Taisiia Andrieieva and junior Annika Schneider have paired up to lose only one match with a 5-1 record in first doubles.

SHARKS ON A TEAR
No. 7 Nova Southeastern has started the season 5-1, but is in the midst of a five-game winning streak after dropping their first contest to No. 1 Armstrong State. Petra Jurova has posted a 5-1 singles record this season, including a 5-0 record in second singles. Jurova has also paired up with Sabrina Kierberg for a team-best 5-1 doubles record.

BUCS UNBEATEN
The No. 4 Buccaneers are 6-0 on the season and have not given up a point to an opponent in their last two matches. Barry University is the second-highest ranked opponent that ART U will face this season other than No. 2 BYU-Hawaii. The Bucs have two players yet to be defeated in singles, including Sonja Larsen who owns a 6-0 record, going 3-0 in both first and second singles.

FIGHTING KNIGHTS RANKED FIFTH
No. 5 Lynn University is 7-1 this season with their last loss coming against No. 1 Armstrong State on February 13. Since then, the Fighting Knights have won their last six contests and have swept all but one of their opponents in their victories (8-1 against No. 6 West Florida). Both Grace Mpassy (7-0) and Rosalie Willig (4-0) are undefeated in singles matches. LU has only lost three doubles contests as a team, going 15-3 overall.

PALM BEACH ATLANTIC ON A STREAK
The No. 39 Sailfish are 6-5 overall, but enjoyed recent success on a tour of southern California, winning four out of five matches. Valerie Nagovitcina has been Palm Beach's most successful singles player, going 1-0 in first singles and 6-4 in second singles for a 7-4 overall record.

BEARS UNBEATEN
No. 12 New York Institute of Technology is 15-0 dating back to September of 2015. The Bears have only played two matches this spring, but have swept both, 9-0.

WOMEN'S TENNIS FALLS TO HPU 5-2
March 5 – The No. 23 Urban Knights and No. 9 Hawaii Pacific Sharks entered Saturday's match with a storied rivalry in their past. The previous two seasons, HPU has been responsible for cutting ART U's championship bid short, defeating the Knights in the first round of the NCAA Division II Tournament in 2014 and 2015. Unfortunately, Academy of Art faced a similar result today, falling 5-2 to the Sharks.

Senior Michelle Dandik Zaale and freshman Paula Alcantara recorded the only ART U victory in doubles, posting an 8-2 score in the third category; as a pair, they are now 4-2 on the season. Freshmen Alma Thell-Lenntorp and Klara Thell-Lenntorp were close to catching HPU's Syna Kayser and Lorena Gheorghe, but fell 8-6.

LOOKING AHEAD
The Urban Knights will return home from Florida on March 23 to begin a five-match home stand starting with No. 33 Cal State Los Angeles.
