PAC TO THE WEST
After emerging victorious in a match against William Jessup on September 16, Academy of Art now heads to Notre Dame de Namur for their first PacWest match of the season. Two days later, the Urban Knights will host their first conference matchup when Dominican comes to town. ART U finished their four-game, non-conference schedule with a 1-2-1 record.

KICKOFF
The match against the Argonauts will begin on Thursday, September 21 at 3:00 p.m. and the game against Domincan will begin at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 23. Live coverage will be available at the links listed above, but as always, you can follow the Urban Knights on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.

KNOTABLE KNIGHTS
Sophomores Isiah Quiros and Zak Kiser hold the two goals scored by the Urban Knights this season. Both are also tied at the top of the team standings with two points apiece. Both Quiros and Kiser have started all four matches for ART U thus far. Freshman midfielder Jaret Gil and junior defender Bobby Gutierrez are tied with one point each after they each provided an assist.

ARGOS NEARLY PERFECT
Notre Dame de Namur enters PacWest-play with a near-perfect, 4-0-1 record. The Argonauts have gone 3-0 in their last three matches and have outscored their opponents 8-2 during that time. Esteban Berumen leads the team with five goals this season which is the second-highest mark in the PacWest. Berumen also has three assists on the year to bring his point total to 13 (also second-best in the conference). The Argonauts are also one of only three teams left in the PacWest without a loss.

PENGUINS ARE 3-1
Dominican has also posted a strong start to the 2017 season, winning all, but one of their games thus far. Their one loss came at the hands of SF State on September 5 when they were shut out 0-2. Since then however, they have gone 2-0 with 2-1 wins in each match. Both Wilson Briggs and Austen McGregor lead the team with two goals each while Briggs is the Penguins' leader with five points thus far.

PREVIOUS MATCH: KISER'S FIRST GOAL LIFTS ART U OVER WJU
Sept. 16 - On Saturday afternoon, Academy of Art lined up across from William Jessup in a match which showcased the Urban Knights' prowess on both sides of the ball. With an impressive defensive-showing, which only conceded one Warriors shot in the opening period, ART U held on for the 1-0 victory after a second-half goal.

LOOKING AHEAD
After facing Dominican on Saturday, the Urban Knights will prepare for a three-match trip to Hawaii where they will face UH Hilo, Chaminade, and Hawaii Pacific.
