Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) National Rankings
 
SAN FRANCISCO – After a 2017 season that was showered with accolades, Academy of Art women's tennis enters 2018 with the program's highest national ranking to date: No. 7.
 
ART U's ranking follows a lucrative season in which they made their third NCAA Regionals appearance, had two players named to the All-PacWest team, and ranked as high as No. 9 in the country.
 
The PacWest continues its tradition as one of the toughest women's tennis conferences in the nation this year as five teams find themselves nationally ranked. Hawaii Pacific (No. 4) is the only team ranked higher than the Urban Knights as they edged Academy of Art in the Regionals match last season.
 
Also touting a No. 2 regional ranking, ART U begins their 2018 season on January 26 when they head to Division I, University of the Pacific.
