URBAN KNIGHTS PLAY FIRST HOME MATCHES
Coming off their comeback tie against Dominican, Academy of Art continues conference play against two southern California teams: Biola and Point Loma. After a long stint of games on the road, this will mark the first men's soccer game played at Paul Goode Field.

KICKOFF
ART U begins their home stand with Biola on Thursday, Sept. 27 at 10:30 a.m. Next the Urban Knights take on Point Loma Saturday Sept. 29 at noon. Remember to follow @ARTU_Knights via the athletics app (Apple App Store, Google Play Store) and on Twitter & Instagram as well as "Like" the Urban Knights on Facebook for score updates, videos, and recaps.

KNIGHT WATCH
Freshman midfielder Edvard Edvarsson continues to impress in his first year as a Knight. The Iceland native collected two assists last week and almost put a game winning header past the goalkeeper who made an incredible save. Edvarsson now leads the team in points with four.

Coming off his first career goal sophomore Connor Lacey is another Knight to watch. Lacey's goal was the first of the Dominican match that spurred a comeback which senior Connor Henrichs also contributed to with his first goal of the season just minutes later to tie the game 2-2.

EAGLES LAND IN SAN FRANCISCO
This will be Biola's first conference matchup of the season, although their last two games have been against PacWest teams. Most recently they suffered a 4-1 loss to Concordia and before that a 4-0 loss to Point Loma. Their current overall record is 2-4-1, with their one tie coming against a No. 18 ranked Fort Hays State. Leo Thompson leads the Eagles in points with seven on three goals and an assist. Academy of Art is winless all time against Biola with a record of 0-2. In their most recent meeting the Eagles defeated the Knights 3-1.

SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA SEA LIONS
Point Loma comes into their match against ART U with a record of 4-3 overall and 0-1 in conference. Their conference loss came in their most recent game versus Fresno Pacific 2-3. Point Loma will have one game in the Bay Area before they take on ART U, Thursday Sept. 27 versus Notre Dame de Namur. The Sea Lions took on an ambitious non-conference schedule, facing off against two top 25 nationally ranked teams, and even beat No. 18 Fort Hays State 1-0. Tim Siegfried has been an offensive force for the Sea Lions this year, collecting five goals and one assist for a total of 11 points. Academy of Art is currently winless all-time against Point Loma with a record of 0-5-1. In their most recent meeting the Sea Lions defeated the Urban Knights 2-0.

ART U MAKES IMPRESSIVE LATE COMEBACK FOR TIE
Down by two goals with just nine minutes left in regulation the match looked to be out of reach, but a tremendous late effort by Academy of Art including goals from sophomore Connor Lacey and senior Connor Henrichs forced overtime. Neither team found the net in the overtime minutes and the game would finish as a 2-2 tie.

LOOKING AHEAD
Academy of Art continues their home-stand with UH Hilo Thursday Oct. 4 at 10:30 a.m. Next, ART U will play a non-conference match against Fresno Pacific Saturday Oct. 6 at noon.
