ART U HEADS EAST ACROSS THE BAY
Following their first win of the season, Academy of Art Men's soccer will cross the bridge to take on bay area rival Cal State East Bay. The Urban Knights will travel to Arcata next, and take on Humboldt State.

KICKOFF
ART U starts their road-trip with Cal State East Bay on Thursday, Sept. 6 at 7:00 p.m. The Urban Knights will continue the trip against Humboldt State Sunday Sept. 9 at 2:00 p.m. Live coverage will be available via the links above. KNIGHT WATCH
After a thrilling goal in overtime against CSUMB sophomore defender Oliver Hadeen is a Knight to watch. He is the leading point scorer on the team with two. Sophomore goalkeeper Kris Jensson is another notable Knight. Jensson has not allowed a goal in the last 163 minutes of play, including a shutout against CSUMB. He has collected seven saves on the year.

PIONEERS SETTLE IN HAYWARD
Early in the season Cal State East Bay sits at 0-1. The Pioneers dropped their first match to Notre Dame de Namur 0-4. Thursday will be their first home game of the year at Pioneer Stadium. ART U leads the series all time with a record of 2-1-2.

LUMBERJACKS CHIP AWAY
After squaring off with two PacWest opponents, Humboldt State's record is an even 1-1. The Lumberjacks defeated Holy Names in their season opener 2-0, then suffered a loss to Dominican 1-2. Isaiah Dairo is the Lumberjacks leading scorer with four points on two goals. Humboldt is unbeaten against ART U with a 4-0 record. The Lumberjacks narrowly edged out the Urban Knights last meeting with a score of 1-0.

HADEEN SCORES GOLDEN GOAL IN OVERTIME
In the second game of the season, Academy of Art played shutdown defense to force a scoreless game against Cal State Monterey Bay into overtime. The game would end just three minutes later when sophomore defender Oliver Hadeen scored his first career goal to give the Urban Knights their first victory of 2018.

LOOKING AHEAD
After the pair of games, Academy of Art will have wrapped up their non-conference portion of the schedule. The Urban Knights will head into conference play versus Fresno Pacific Monday Sept. 17, then take on Dominican Saturday Sept. 22.
