2018-19 United Soccer Coaches College Team Academic Awards

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- In Thursday's release of the 2018-19 College Team Academic Awards by the United Soccer Coaches Association, Academy of Art was one of 258 schools to have both its men's and women's soccer programs recognized.
 
On the men's side, 22 individuals combined for a 3.07 grade point average with half of those receiving Academic All-PacWest recognition as well. Led by 18 Academic All-PacWest honorees and three D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award winners, women's soccer finished 2018-19 with a collective 3.29 GPA.
 
To qualify for the award, a team must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) to be eligible.

This is the first time ART U men's soccer has earned the award and, for women's soccer, it is the Urban Knights' sixth historically.
