ART U CLOSES HOME SET WITH CONCORDIA
Academy of Art will continue their conference schedule and close out their homestand with a match against Concordia this Thursday, Oct. 10 at Paul Goode Field.

Junior forward
Adrian Cekala leads the Urban Knights offense with three points on one goal and an assist. Cekala assisted sophomore midfielder
Breki Einarsson's first career goal, which came against Notre Dame de Namur
on Sept. 26. Einarsson received a well executed pass from Cekala, who flew past Argonaut defenders on ART U's quick counterattack to set up the goal. Einarsson put a solid strike on the ball with his left foot and drove it to the bottom right corner. Through seven matches, sophomore midfielder
Edvard Edvarsson has maintained his streak of playing every minute of every match and leads the team with his 635 minutes.
'ELLO EAGLES
Concordia currently holds a 3-4 overall record and 1-0 conference record. The Eagles started their season with back to back losses, first to UC San Diego 5-0 and then Cal State LA 2-0. CUI snapped their losing streak and notched their first win against Cal State San Marcos on Sept. 14 by a score of 5-2. The Eagles went on to win their next match versus Cal Poly Pomona 3-2, before dropping two consecutive non-conference matchups to No. 4 Azusa Pacific and Biola. In their PacWest opener and most recent match, CUI defeated Fresno Pacific 2-1 by coming back from a 1-0 deficit and scoring two goals in the second half. Caley Powers is the Eagles points leader, with 10 points on four goals and two assists. Behind him is Bryan Lopez, who has also scored four goals. CUI is 3-1 all-time against Academy of Art and won their most recent meeting on Oct. 22, 2018.
MEN'S SOCCER TOPPED BY NO. 3 AZUSA PACIFIC
The Urban Knights fought valiantly, but
fell 6-0 to No. 3 Azusa Pacific on Thursday afternoon at Paul Goode Field.
LOOKING AHEAD
After their match against the Eagles of Concordia, the Urban Knights will take their first trip to Southern California to face the Eagles of Biola, on Oct. 17 in La Mirada.
