2023 CSC Academic All-District Women's Track & Field/Cross Country Teams
GREENWOOD, Ind. – Just days after earning her first All-American honor with Academy of Art track & field,
Britney Clark's success off the track was also recognized as she was named to the 2023 Academic All-District Track & Field/Cross Country Team, selected by the College Sports Communicators.

Student-athletes were selected by CSC members and recognized as the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom. To qualify for the CSC All-District Track & Field/Cross Country Teams in Division II, a student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or greater through the most-recent semester and must have completed one full calendar year at his institution (graduate students are an exception to this requirement). A total of 522 student-athletes from 139 institutions were honored. Academic All-District honorees advance to the Academic All-America ballot to be announced in June.
Following up her 3.75 cumulative GPA in Marketing while at Southwest Baptist, Clark worked toward a 3.66 GPA in Academy of Art's School of Writing for Film, Television & Digital Media while securing numerous athletic honors. She combined for five USTFCCCA All-Region selections across her impressive debut
indoor and
outdoor campaigns, placing among NCAA DII's top 40 in eight different events each regular season (indoor 60m, 200m, 400m, 4x400m and outdoor 100m, 200m, 4x100m, 4x400m). En route to adding her name into the top five in program history in three individual events, including ART U's
second-fastest 100m to date at 11.62, and one relay, Clark was a
Pacific West Conference Champion with her teammates in the 4x100m relay then capped her year in that same quartet on the
USTFCCCA All-America Second Team at Outdoor Nationals.
This is the first CSC Academic All-District honor for Clark in her ART U career.
