Women's Soccer Brings Home Eighth Team Academic Award

2023-24 United Soccer Coaches College Team Academic Award 

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – In Thursday's release of the 2023-24 College Team Academic Awards by the United Soccer Coaches Association, Academy of Art women's soccer collected its eighth honor to date as one of the country's 237 women's soccer programs recognized.

"I'm proud of our players for continuing to set the standard on what we are capable of in the classroom," said Head Coach Lauren Nadler. "This team award is an example of the bar we expect to be at and it further pushes us to take on each challenge head-on in the future."

With a 3.34 cumulative grade point average, ART U was one of four women's soccer programs in the Pacific West Conference to receive the Team Academic Award. To qualify for the award, a team must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) to be eligible.

The team recognition comes after 17 Urban Knights were selected for Academic All-PacWest.
