2019-20 Academic All-PacWest Team
IRVINE, Calif. – A total of 91 Academy of Art University student-athletes were named 2019-20 Academic All-Pacific West Conference in an announcement by the conference media relations office today. Based on performances in the classroom over their cumulative collegiate career, 1,742 athletes from the conference's 14 member institutions earned the distinction.
All student-athletes chosen for the Academic All-PacWest honor met a set of specific criteria including a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, must have completed two academic semesters at the institution, and must have competed in at least one regular season game/competition.
Award winners were represented by each of Academy of Art's 14 sports which are sponsored by the PacWest Conference. Women's soccer led the way with 16 representatives while women's track & field and volleyball followed with 12 and 11 members selected respectively. Tied for the fourth-most was baseball and men's track & field with nine honorees apiece.

The PacWest is now scheduled to choose a Scholar-Athlete of the Year for each of its 15 sports. Institutions have been presented with an opportunity to nominate one student-athlete from each of its athletic programs and these individual winners will be announced on Monday, June 22.
