Grollmann has already collected a .733 save percentage as he's corralled in 22 saves off 73 shots faced to rank fifth in the Pacific West Conference in saves per game and save percentage, while he's given up eight scores.Â
ENTERING VULCANS SKIRMISH
No. 21 UH Hilo, who will compete with Hawaii Pacific prior to their match with Academy of Art, has started their season off with an overall record of 5-1 as they are coming off two narrow one-goal differences against Cal Poly Humboldt and Cal State Monterey Bay. All of UHH's six wins are all within just two scores as the Vulcans have outscored their opponents this season 10-5 thus far. Shudai Ito leads UHH with his two scores on two total shots while eight other Vulcans are tied right behind him with one goal apiece. Christian Souza has started four of six games in net for the Vulcans, and has given up just two scores in 360 minutes played while recording 18 saves. The Vulcans are 10-6 against the Knights coming into the upcoming matchup.
STOPPING THE SILVERSWORDS
Currently looking for their first win of their 2024 season, the Chaminade Silverswords will host Dominican three days prior to their match with ART U. The 'Swords hold a 0-3 record overall, coming off three straight losses to Hawai'i Pacific, Stanislaus State, and UH Hilo. Although Academy of Art men's soccer outshot Stanislaus State in their match at SF Glens at Treasure Island Field on Sept. 25, the Warriors capitalized on vital chances to earn the 2-0 triumph for their squad.
LOOKING AHEAD
