Previous Experience: Black is a transfer from Western Texas College where he became a multi-time All-American in track & field over the course of two seasons (2015-17) ... first of two appearances at NJCAA Indoor Nationals saw him place fifth in the 600m and first with his teammates in the 4x400m ... delivered a personal record 1:20.88 in the 600m at Indoor Nationals ... broke out with a 52.70 for third overall in the 400m hurdles at Outdoor Nationals in 2017 ... was on the Westerners' 4x100m relay team that set a program record of 39.63 ... attended St. Elizabeth Technical High School in Santa Cruz, Jamaica where he spent four years on the varsity track & field team ... helped accomplish a school record 3:08.67 in the 4x400m relay.
