Out of the 18-competitor field at the Urban Knight Invitational on Sept. 30, four ART U golfers cracked the top half while freshman Isabella Christy came away with the individual tournament win, finalizing her score at a 4-over-par 148, shooting a consistent 2-over-par 74 in each round. This win is Christy's first career triumph as this was just her second collegiate tournament to date.

With this achievement, Christy additionally came out to earn a Pacific West Conference Golfer of the Week award as she also led her team towards a first place finish in the tournament as well as the first PacWest Team of the Week honor for ART U this season. 

It was the first time this season an Urban Knight has been named the Golfer of the Week and is also the first since Anahi Servin in 2022. This was also the first time Christy has been recognized as an Athlete of the Week by the department, furthering her plethora of accomplishments, this early in her collegiate career.
