Tournament Win Earns Servin Fifth PacWest Weekly Honor

PacWest Weekly Awards (Apr. 8)

IRVINE, Calif. –
Fresh off of her third tournament victory of the 2021-22 campaign and first in the spring, this time coming at the West Texas A&M Desert Invitational where she was the only golfer in the field to shoot in the red, Academy of Art women's golf junior Anahi Servin has been tabbed as the Pacific West Conference Golfer of the Week for the fifth time this year. The award is for tournaments played from Mar. 31-Apr. 6.

The Urban Knights were in action twice over last week, first participating in the RJGA Palm Valley Classic on Apr. 1 and 2 where Servin finished a tough course at 10-over-par 154. However, it was in the second action of the period where Servin truly shined, collecting the 13th tournament win of her career at the Desert Invitational by finishing at 2-under-par 142 and clinching the win by three strokes. While there, her best round was her opening 18 holes where she carded a 3-under-par 69 with four birdies, ultimately finishing the tournament with a total of five.

All five PacWest Golfer of the Week awards won by an Urban Knight this season have belonged to Servin, having previously done so this year on Sept. 23Oct. 6Mar. 10, and Mar. 24. Additionally, she continues to extend her PacWest record for total number of weekly awards having just won the 17th of her career.
