PacWest Weekly Awards (Mar. 24)
IRVINE, Calif. – Among a crowded and competitive field at The Patriot Invitational earlier this week, Academy of Art women's golf junior
Anahi Servin claimed yet another top-20 finish by ending in a tie for 13th place, and she is now the single-most decorated student-athlete in all of Pacific West Conference history with her record 16th PacWest Golfer of the Week honor. The award is for tournaments played from Mar. 17-23.
With a final combined score of 10-over-par 223, Servin finished tied with Sami Penor of Biola as the top individual finishers from the PacWest, as they each shared a split of this week's honor. Servin jumped two spots in the final round, and she shined on par-four holes with a combined score of 2-over-par on such holes, which was tied for third-best mark in the tournament field. Additionally, she dropped a pair of birdies in both the second and third rounds while adding an eagle in her opening round.
This is now the fourth time this season that an Urban Knight has earned a PacWest weekly honor, all belonging to Servin, as she now holds more PacWest weekly awards than any other student-athlete in any sport in conference history. This season, Servin has also earned honors on
Sept. 23,
Oct. 6, and
Mar. 10.
