Not only did Lina Hanich break her own Academy of Art indoor 800m record by more than two seconds at 2:05.41, but she did so while moving into the fourth spot in NCAA Division II history.

Up against nearly 150 primarily NCAA DI opponents at the John Thomas Terrier Classic on Jan. 31, Hanich placed 23rd overall and bettered her own program record for a fourth consecutive year while rising to second in the country this season.

In addition to her individual success, Hanich provided the second leg of the Urban Knights' 3:47.89 mark in the 4x400m relay which has them 20th in the country among Indoor Nationals provisional qualifiers.
