On back-to-back days competing in three meets in New York, Ombretta Picciolie Minkue Meye started the 2020 calendar year with numerous impressive sprint performances.

At the Saint Thomas Aquinas Spartan Invitational on Jan. 10, Minkue Meye first contributed to a 1:41.66 mark in the 4x200m relay which was 0.03 off the program record then she offered her second NCAA Division II Nationals provisional qualification in the 60m with a 7.61. That time was bettered on Jan. 11, however, when the three-time All-American nearly broke her own personal record of 7.54 with a 7.57 60m prelims of the Albany Great Dane Classic. Later that same day in the TCNJ Lions Indoor Invitational, Minkue Meye contributed another Nationals provisional with her 24.68 (another 0.03 from her indoor personal best) in the 200m.

The Communications & Media Technologies major is now tied for seventh in NCAA Division II in the 200m and tied for ninth in the country in the 60m.
