"This was a great experience for us despite the many challenges and setbacks," said head coach Cheryl Lala. "The women never gave up and worked hard until the very end. Unfortunately we weren't able to secure a national championship berth but I'm glad we were able to get this far. This was a strong showing for us in our first year on the scene and I can't wait to build on the momentum created from this championship season."
