2015 University of Alabama at Birmingham Green and Gold Invitational ResultsBIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Back inside the Birmingham Crossplex for another full day of competition, ART U Track & Field successfully challenged NCAA Division I competition. The women's 4x400m relay was one of the top performances, further solidifying the Urban Knights' NCAA provisional mark.

Mistic Scott,
Atiya Harvey,
Omotoyosi Oniru, and
Keanna Moody finished off the day in memorable fashion, going 3:48.06 in the 4x400m to finish first not only against their fellow NCAA DII competition, but Division I as well. Their top mark out of 23 teams vaulted them to second in their entire country thus far.
Individually, Harvey shined in the 60m dash with a pair of 7.68 marks in the prelims and finals. She placed fourth of 56 and topped all Division I competitors in the prelims then finished third of 13 in the finals.
In the 400m, Moody went 56.42 for third place out of 51 sprinters who mixed Division I and others.
On the men's side,
Marlon Britton had a pair of 8.28 times in the prelims and finals of the 60m hurdles. He would place third of 22 to start then fourth of 11 in the final round.
In the 400m,
Roman Skovronski offered a time of 49.28 to finish fourth of 38 competitors including Division I talent.
Geno Simmons continued to improve in the triple jump, delivering a personal best of 45-9.75 (13.96m) to place second of 11.
ART U continues its indoor season with the New Mexico Classic on Feb. 6-7.
