2025 NCAA Division II Outdoor Nationals Results (Day 1)
PUEBLO, Colo. – Academy of Art track & field's start to NCAA Division II Outdoor Nationals closed in exciting fashion as
Robin Black secured one of the automatic qualifications through the prelims of the 400m hurdles.

A strong opening 150m helped push Black to win his heat, ensuring his spot in Saturday's final. The Music Production & Sound Design for Visual Media nearly matched his season best down the final stretch, closing with the eighth-fastest time on the day at 50.96. In the same 400m hurdles prelims heat as his teammate,
Josh Marlin came in at 51.47, finishing 0.37 seconds from the ninth spot as a member of the All-America Second Team.
Starting the second flight of the long jump,
Yacouba Gnacko improved on his opening distance with a 23-8.25 (7.22m) in his second attempt. That mark served as his best on the day, putting him 16th overall.
Tre'Sean Bouie was first in action for ART U during the 400m dash prelims on Friday, delivering a time of 47.22 across the finish line. At 16th overall, he ended up less than a second from qualifying for Saturday's final.
The second day of action will feature Urban Knights in three events including Gnacko in the triple jump at 5:05 p.m. MT (4:05 p.m. PT),
Lina Hanich in the 800m prelims at 6 p.m. MT (5 p.m. PT), and the men's 4x400m relay prelims at 8:05 p.m. MT (7:05 p.m. PT).
