San Francisco – San Francisco Tennis Club HOME COURT ADVANTAGEThe Urban Knights spent a week touring the sunshine where the competition was equally as hot as the weather. Four out of the five opponents ART U faced were ranked within the top 15 in the country. After going 1-4 on said trip, Academy of Art returns home for their final home stand of the season. The Knights face No. 33 Cal State Los Angeles (March 23), No. 2 BYU-Hawaii (March 24), and #17 UC San Diego. Live coverage will be available on

GOLDEN EAGLES ON THE ROADNo. 33 Cal State LA is in the midst of a five-game road stint, including four matches in four days in the bay area. The Eagles are currently 7-6 and have won three out of their previous five matches. Kayleigh Hall has led the way for the Golden Eagles in singles, posting a 12-3 record thus far. CSULA is also 21-24 in doubles matches, but have used 10 different pairings.
SEASIDERS TOP DOGS (ALMOST)BYU-Hawaii enters Thursday's matchup ranked second in the country and is 8-0 this season. In fact, the Seasiders have swept each of their opponents without losing a point. BYUH is in the midst of a ten-match road trip with three being played in the bay area.
UCSD RANKED 17th The No. 17 Tritons are 6-8 this season, but have dropped their previous four matches. Before squaring off with the Urban Knights, UCSD will take on Stanislaus State and Holy Names. Kyra Scott has been the Tritons' top player thus far, going 7-4 in first singles and is the only player on the team to win in said category.
KNIGHTS EDGED 5-3 BY NO. 12 NYITMarch 19 – The Urban Knights returned to Boca Raton to face the No. 12 New York Institute of Technology Bears on Saturday. Despite keeping it close, ART U was just edged 5-3 in their final match in Florida.

Klara Thell-Lenntorp and
Taisiia Andrieieva paired up to defeat Melanie Benyadi and Gabriela Siembab of NYIT 8-4. Senior
Michelle Dandik Zaale and freshman
Paula Alcantara came within three games of winning their match, falling short by a score of 8-5.
LOOKING AHEADAfter a busy first week back home, the Urban Knights will take on Holy Names and Stanislaus State in their final home matches of the season.
