2016 Brutus Hamilton Open Results
BERKELEY, Calif. – Weathering an early storm overhead, ART U track & field started off the Brutus Hamilton Open with a collection of season-best marks. Among the top performances was a career-best by

Continuing to improve in the event, Brown made it now four consecutive weekends in which she has dropped her time in the 800m. On this occasion, she delivered a 2:15.95 good for third of 21 after winning her heat. The time puts her third in program history, entering her into a trio of Urban Knights who have run sub-2:16.00.

"Ashley was great," said director of track & field/cross country
Torrey Olson. "She has done a great job of learning her event all season and applying it a little each race. She earned it today!"
Season-bests also came for
Emily McCarty in the 1500m (4:54.25) and
