TEMPE, Ariz -- In the latest team rankings released by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association, Academy of Art women's tennis came in as the No. 6 team in the nation, the highest ranking in program history.
The rankings come after a successful fall that began with a sweep at the
ITA West Region Championships thanks to a doubles championship by seniors

Saint Mary's Invitational before competing in one of the top national intercollegiate tennis tournaments in the country, the
ITA Cup.
In the previous ITA individual rankings, Academy of Art had three players in the top seven with the Thell-Lenntorp twins coming in as the fifth ranked doubles team in the nation while senior Stanikova ranked seventh in singles.
Stanikova and her partner senior
Paula Alcantara rank No. 23 in the nation for doubles. Both twins crack the top 50 in singles with Alma coming in as the No. 34 and Klara as No. 44.
Academy of Art women's tennis ranked as high as
