Sonoma State Fall Invitational Final Results
ROHNERT PARK, Calif. – Academy of Art women's golf came in second place at the Sonoma State Fall Invitational on Tuesday at the Santa Rosa Golf & Country Club and a pair of Urban Knights finished in the top-five. As a team, the Urban Knights shot a combined 606.Â
"It was a good tournament for Iveta and Anahi, they both made the All-Tournament team," said head coach
Mitch Lowe. "The team struggled a little bit on day two but everyone hung tough during the round which I was proud of them for doing."

Junior
Iveta Posledni led ART U with her third place finish after a 1-over-par 73 in round one and a 3-over-par 75 in round two. Junior
Anahi Servin finished just one stroke behind Posledni, to tie for fourth with her cumulative score of 149. Senior
Elan Hawkins rounded out the Knights in the top-10 with her ninth place finish. Hawkins shot a solid 2-over-par 74 on day one and ended with an overall score of 152. SophomoreÂ
Chih-Hui "Judy" Shao rounded out the ART U scorers with her cumulative 159.Â
"It's very encouraging to see that everyone on the team keeps their chin up during tough rounds," said Lowe. "They know that every shot counts regardless of how they're playing. Now we look forward to San Marcos next week and putting in a good effort there."
Academy of Art will compete in one final tournament this fall on Oct. 21-22 at the DII West Region Preview in Carlsbad, California at the La Costa Golf Resort.Â
