After closing the book on his final collegiate indoor season with three impressive results at the 2019 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field National ChampionshipsMobolade Ajomale was awarded High Point Athlete of the Meet on Tuesday for his 19.5 total points scored.

The award, as announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), is given to one student-athlete of each gender who compiles the highest point total at the NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships. This year, the honor was shared by Ajomale and Caroline Kurgat of Alaska Anchorage.

Becoming a 17-time All-American and nine-time national champion in the process, Ajomale won his third consecutive individual title in the 200m, placed second in the 60m, and anchored the Urban Knights' 4x400 relay that took third overall. He would finish with 19.5 total points to his name.
