2020 Tim Tierney Pioneer Shootout Results (Day 1)

ALAMEDA, Calif. – The Academy of Art women's golf team got off to a hot start in its first tournament of the spring 2020 campaign, as the Urban Knights check in at second place at the Tim Tierney Pioneer Shootout held at Chuck Corica Golf Complex.
 
As a whole, the Urban Knights combined to shoot an 18-over-par 306 in round one, sitting just two strokes behind current tournament leader Cal State San Marcos. Leading the way for ART U was junior Iveta Posledni, as she sits in first place in the individual portion by carding the best round of her collegiate career 4-under-par 68. Posledni tallied six birdies, five of which came on the front nine with no bogeys, the most of any Urban Knight in the round.
 
Fellow junior Anahi Servin is also in the top-10, as she is currently tied for eighth place by turning in a score of 2-over-par 74. Rounding out the scoring for ART U is senior Han-Chuan "Vicky" Kuo with an 8-over-par 80, while senior Elan Hawkins registered a 12-over-par 84.
 
Round two for ART U will commence tomorrow morning from the Chuck Corica Golf Complex.
