2022 West Regional Preview (Final Results)

DALLAS – The final round of the 2022 West Regional Preview came and went with little change for Academy of Art women's golf, as the Urban Knights began and ended the day in 15th place, turning in a final overall combined score of 89-over-par 953.

ART U's best round of the day came from senior Jae Eun Park, as her 1-over-par 73, which included five birdies on the day with three on the back nine, led the way for the Urban Knights. That round helped her tie with freshman Nicole Yang for the team's top finish, 62nd place at 22-over-par 238. During the final round, Yang carded a 10-over-par 82. Also scoring for ART U was junior Valeria Ruiz in 69th place at 24-over-par 240, while freshman Maddie Elias tied for 74th with a 26-over-par 242.

Improving their spot by one and finishing as the top team from the Pacific West Conference was Biola, who tied for third place with a combined score of 26-over-par 890. The Eagles also featured the top individual PacWest golfer in Brady Turnquist, who finished in second place just one stroke off the leader at 5-under-par 211, placing as the runner-up to Julia Garcia of Dallas Baptist (6-under-par 210). DBU also claimed victory in the team portion, dominating the field at a combined 6-under-par 858.

With its fall season now complete, Academy of Art returns to the course in the coming spring.
