2022 The Patriot Invitational (Rounds 1 & 2)

PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. – Sitting towards the top of the leaderboard at the Patriot Invitational from Poppy Hills Golf Club is Academy of Art women's golf junior Anahi Servin, as she is tied for 15th at 8-over-par 150 after the opening two rounds, helping ART U to rest in ninth place as a team at 58-over-par 626. 

The best of the two rounds for Servin came in the opening 18 holes, as she pulled off an eagle on the 18th hole en route to posting a 1-over-par 72. Meanwhile, she (along with the rest of Academy of Art) recorded a pair of birdies in the second round, going 7-over-par 78 to end the day. Following behind Servin was fellow junior Iveta Posledni, tied for 30th with a combined score of 14-over-par 156. Rounding out the scoring for the Urban Knights was the duo of freshman Tessa Geenen and sophomore Jae Eun Park, as Geenen is tied for 43rd at 17-over par 159 while Park is in a knot for 49th at 20-over-par 162. 

In front of the Urban Knights on the leaderboard in eighth place is Sonoma State at 53-over-par 621, just five strokes ahead of ART U. Host Dallas Baptist University starts as the team leader as the Patriots pace the field at 2-over-par 570, 14 shots above the second place Limestone University. Biola is the top Pacific West Conference team in a tie for sixth at 51-over-par 619. 

Round three of the The Patriot Invitational will conclude tomorrow from Poppy Hills Golf Club beginning tomorrow at 7:30 a.m.
