2024 Cal State LA Very Last Chance Results

LOS ANGELES – NCAA Division II Outdoor Nationals provisional marks in multiple relays were the highlights for Academy of Art track & Field out at Jesse Owens Stadium for the Cal State LA Very Last Chance on Sunday.

In the women's 4x100m, the combination of Alicia Thomas, Lauryn James, Darria Matthias, and Juvonna Cornette produced the Urban Knight's 10th Outdoor Nationals provisional effort of the year at 45.61 to secure the day's top finish. The mark ended up 21st in the country.

On the men's side, it was Vaughn Lacour, Omodiaogbe Oboh, Taj-Leon Wisdom, and Jaden Singleton who went 3:12.96 to deliver the particular quartet's first 4x400m relay Outdoor Nationals provisional qualification of the season as well as ART U's sixth in 2024.

For those Urban Knights who qualify, the finale of the outdoor season will come at Outdoor Nationals hosted by Emporia State in Kansas on May 23-25.
