Giulio Zanichelli came out as the top finisher for Academy of Art men’s golf at the Wildcat Classic at The Links at Rolling Hills in Corning, Calif. as he wrapped it up with his second-straight individual runner up finish on Oct. 8, shooting a 10-under-par 206 to additionally earn back-to-back Pacific West Conference Golfer of the Week honors on Oct. 9.

While Zanichelli ranked atop the leaderboard after the first day of competition with a 9-under-par 135, the Parma, Italy native shot a 1-under-par 71 in his third round, good to finish in his second place spot. With 50 competitors in the competition, Zanichelli’s second round 5-under-par 67 ranked as the second-best individual round of the tournament as well.

Zanichelli led the Urban Knights to finish in the top half of teams as they concluded the Wildcat Classic in fourth place.
